Forge Your Own Path
Psychotherapy & Coaching for passionate people who travel unconventional terrain
I’m a psychotherapist and coach in St. Louis, where I work with activists, artists, entrepreneurs, and people living many different types of unconventional lives.

You care deeply. You think deeply.
Maybe you create, fight, build, nurture what’s most important, or challenge the status quo.
Things are especially hard right now for those who are different and those working to build a better world. You may feel exhausted, unmoored, grieving, scattered, or stuck. You need therapy that honors your depth and helps you feel more whole, not less complicated.
I work with clients navigating burnout, grief, identity shifts, ADHD overwhelm, and transitions that don’t fit neatly into boxes.
Whether you’re an artist struggling to create, an activist feeling exhausted or disillusioned, or a queer person seeking more support in an incredibly difficult environment, I can help you stay connected to what matters most.
Work with Me
Those who might find me a good fit are:
Support for adults whose lived experience, relationships, and sense of self do not match the restrictive gender and sexuality boxes we have required people to live in.
Therapy for artists and other creative people for whom the process of mining their experience for material or taking creative risks is emotionally demanding.
For people who are more actively involved in trying to effect change in the world I help you manage burnout and find balance.
Therapy for people in relationships that are unconventional in some way—including non-monogamous, gender-non-conforming and LGBTIA+.
Sometimes we come to points in our lives where the stories we’ve been living—about who we are and how our lives are supposed to unfold—no longer fit.
Burnout, or the physical or mental collapse caused by overwork or stress, is an issue many people face in their day-to-day lives. Learn strategies to help.
My job is to explore with you and ask good questions.
I don’t promise quick fixes, simple answers, or five steps to a known outcome.
I see people as separate from problems; YOU are not the problem. I’m more interested in the full and complex picture of your experience in the world than in labeling or diagnosing.
I make a practice of questioning everything, and of reorienting myself regularly to what is most important. I’m adept at making space for difference, and I excel at supporting clients who want to move in unconventional directions.
